WORK DESCRIPTION

The repainting of the “sails” at the Shetland Museum & Archives utilised a cherry picker to reach the heights of 25 Metres.

MORE DETAILS:

Malakoff painters were enlisted to remove growth and repaint the exterior of the Museum’s Boat Hall.

Work Scope:
  • Scrub down and pressure wash sails to remove moss marine growth
  • Undercoat sails using paint to client specification
  • Topcoat sails using paint to clients specification
  • Fit copper strips along top of sails to redirect rain runoff
