Malakoff at Dynamic Shetland
Yesterday saw the start of the Dynamic Shetland renewable energy event, held at the Clickimin Centre. The event was organised by the Shetland Islands Council and the Highlands and Islands Enterprise to promote the massive potential of Shetland as a Renewable energy resource. The 2 day event started with a conference with talks from Industry and Island organisations alike. Day 2 included site visits around the Island, visiting some of the key areas that are seen as potential renewable energy development sites.
On the Malakoff stand was information regarding our services and some recent projects. The visitors were then welcomed at our Scalloway yard for a tour of our Slipway and to see our recent build boat, the Havra from the NAFC, which was berthed at our Pier for the morning.
Interest in our stand and our facilities was high and encouraging with many new contacts made.
