Work Description: Malakoff were appointed to design and build the "Havra", a 12.5m steel catamaran workboat for use with the NAFC Marine Centre. The workboat was designed, fabricated and built in our Lerwick yard before the successfull lauch from our Slipway in Scalloway in April 2011.
The Havra was built in accordance to MCA and Lloyds standards and was supplied with all relevant equipment that allowed her to be put to work on the day she was launched.
Designed to work in coastal waters and with a deck space of 25m² approx, the Havra is ideally suited for use in a wide variety of roles within the NAFC.
