More Details:

The NAFC Marine Centre is an educational and scientific institute based in Scalloway - delivering training and education while also carrying out research and development.

The Centre commissioned Malakoff Limited in 2010, with the boat being launched in April 2011. The build was in accordance to MCA & Lloyd Standards and was supplied with all relevant equipment that allowed the Havra to be put straight to work by the Centre.

The boat was designed to work in coastal waters and with a deck space of 25m^2, it’s ideally suited for use in a wide variety of roles within the NAFC.
